How to Make Your Sale More Profitable - See the Gr$$n in
5 Simple Steps
1. If you are not located on Highway 200 or Highway 28, or maybe you are in a hard to find location, plan to set up your sale in one of the designated "Flea Market" areas in Plains and Thompson Falls. More sales in a concentrated location increases revenue for all.
2. Plan to do your own direction signs, balloons, etc. - which added to the event signs will help drive the traffic to your door.
3. Plan to open your sale by 8:00am each day - yard sale enthusiasts hit the sales early to find the best items first. If you are not open, you will miss the early crowd of shoppers.
4. Get your neighbors signed up - why not do a block sale? More stuff to sell means more stuff sold!
5. Invite your out of town friends and family to town for the weekend. Not only can they help you with your sale, but they will probably enjoy shopping the yard sales as well.
Why Have a Yard Sale?
By participating in the countywide sale you not only show your support of the community, but you are helping to make your own sale more successful.
The $15.00 participation fee goes toward promoting the event and driving traffic to your door.
